Storyline
In 2020, Philipp and Manuel met for the first time - both nervous about the entrance exam in Magglingen. Philipp number 25, Manuel number 26. A random conversation.
A shared moment of trembling. And then: a friendship that grew over the years, through countless mountain tours, shared surf trips to the sea, and shared flats filled with laughter, tiredness, and thoughts about the future.
On the Atlantic coast in a camper van, the paths of Carole and Manuel/Philipp crossed through mutual friends. Weeks together on the beach, party waves, and overtired evenings quickly brought us close and marked the beginning of many more journeys together.
At the same time, on the other side of the world, Nicole was traveling through Central and South America. Surfing, traveling, work, and adventure all blended together. She spent her winters in Davos and her summers at the Stallbar in Jona, where Carole also worked part-time alongside her architecture studies. The evenings they shared behind the bar led to a deep friendship.
Alongside her nights at the Stall Bar and days at university, Carole had already founded her first small brand, Offshore Surfboards. It now forms the foundation for our new idea, O’shore.
The winter in Davos brought Nicole and Philipp together; both were living under the same roof. Carole also spent many of her winter days in Davos. And Manuel was never far away anyway - at the latest when good snow was forecast, he’d be back on the couch.
Little by little, our paths became intertwined. We quickly realized that the same things drive us: time outdoors, moving in the mountains, surfing by the sea, and the simple life in good company.
Through many shared surf trips, skiing and snowboarding adventures, and long chats together, the idea was born to bring Offshore back to life. Not just as a surf brand, but for a broader audience—so that even more people can enjoy our products.
Building on the existing foundation of Offshore Surfboards, our love for nature, and our shared passions, we created our new project o’shore together.
O’shore stands for joy, community, sustainability, and a love for outdoor sports—something we’re excited to share with all of you.
